On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Banda Aceh City Transportation Agency (Dishub) and the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) signed a collaboration agreement. The signing ceremony took place at the Dishub Banda Aceh office and was attended by H. Bukhari Sufi, S.Sos., M.Si., Acting Head of the Banda Aceh City Transportation Agency; Ir. Muhammad Zubir, SSIT., M.Si., Secretary of the Agency; and Dr. Dra. Intan Syahrini, M.Si., Head of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA USK, along with her delegation.
The agreement outlines the implementation of the Internship Program (Kuliah Kerja Praktik) at the Banda Aceh City Transportation Agency for students of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA USK. The primary goal of this collaboration is to provide students with hands-on professional experience in a real work environment and to enhance their skills to be better prepared for the workforce after graduation.
Through this agreement, it is expected that a sustainable partnership will be established between the local government and higher education institutions, particularly between the Banda Aceh City Transportation Agency and Universitas Syiah Kuala. This collaboration aims to improve the quality of education and public services in the field of transportation in Banda Aceh, while also bringing mutual benefits to both parties involved.
