Another proud achievement has been accomplished by a student from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala. Anna Zakia, a member of the 2025 cohort, secured 3rd place in the Painting category at the Student Art Selection (SELEKSIMI) 2026 organized by Universitas Syiah Kuala.
The competition was held on April 22, 2026, at the USK Student Activity Center, featuring various art competitions, including painting and photography. This event served as a platform for students to express their talents and creativity in the arts while also enhancing their competitive skills at the university level.
Anna Zakia’s achievement demonstrates that mathematics students not only excel academically but also possess strong potential in the fields of art and creativity. Through her painting, she showcased powerful visual expression and innovative creative ideas.
