Another proud achievement has been made by students of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Three students from the 2024 cohort — M. Ibnu Khoir, Nabila Syafiqa, and Safiatutdhuhra — successfully earned the Bronze Medal (Creative Idea Award) at the Sustainable Innovations Essay Competition 2025, a national-level competition.
This prestigious event was organized by Cakap Riset in collaboration with Universitas Widya Mataram, and took place on 9–10 August 2025 at the Universitas Widya Mataram campus in Yogyakarta. The competition gathered more than 1,500 participants from various universities across Indonesia.
In this competition, the three Mathematics students from USK demonstrated outstanding ability in formulating innovative and sustainable ideas that provide real benefits to society. Their achievement in securing the Bronze Medal in the Creative Idea category reflects sharp analytical thinking, creativity, and a strong awareness of sustainability issues.
This accomplishment also affirms that Mathematics students are not only strong in analytical skills but are also capable of contributing impactful solutions to contemporary challenges.
